Cookie & Storage Policy
Last updated: October 2026 • Effective immediately
1. Our Stance: Zero Advertising & Tracking Cookies
Most websites clutter your screen with consent banners because they drop third-party advertising cookies, cross-site tracking beacons, and behavioral analytics scripts (like Meta Pixel or Google Analytics) that monitor your web activity across the internet.
SoundWell uses ZERO third-party advertising cookies, ZERO marketing trackers, and ZERO cross-site profiling technologies. We do not monetize your browsing habits or share your visits with data brokers.
2. Strictly Necessary & Functional Storage
To provide our service, we use your browser's native localStorage and session storage exclusively for essential and functional purposes explicitly requested by you:
| Storage Key / Cookie | Type | Legal Basis | Function |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | localStorage | Strictly Necessary | Maintains your authenticated Google session via Supabase Auth so you stay signed in across tabs. |
| vibe.free.tracks.v1 | localStorage | Strictly Necessary | Stores your daily track count and local midnight timestamp to enforce the 4-tracks/day free quota locally. |
| vibe.settings.v1.slowed vibe.settings.v1.nightcore |
localStorage | Functional Preference | Remembers your last chosen slider positions (Speed, Reverb, Tape Wobble, Bass Boost) between sessions. |
| vibe.user.v1 | localStorage | Functional Preference | Caches your profile display name and avatar URL so the header account menu renders immediately on load. |
| checkout.razorpay.com | Session Cookie | Strictly Necessary | Loaded only when checking out Creator Pro on payment.html to authenticate PCI-DSS payment fraud prevention. |
Under EU ePrivacy regulations (Directive 2002/58/EC as amended), storage technologies that are strictly necessary to deliver a service explicitly requested by the user are exempt from requiring intrusive opt-in consent banners.

4. How to Manage Storage in Your Browser
You can also inspect, block, or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings:
- Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies → See all site data and permissions → Search for
vibestudio.pages.dev. - Apple Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data → Search for
vibestudio.pages.dev→ Remove. - Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data.
*Note: If you disable localStorage entirely, SoundWell will not be able to remember your slider preferences between visits, and logged-in Creator Pro sessions cannot persist across page reloads.
